Gas Generator Installation Service

Click to view generator installation brochureRoom HeaterWhen disasters like hurricanes strike, widespread power outages are inevitable. A standby generator becomes an alternate source of electricity during such crises. If sized correctly, a generator can keep your central air conditioning, lights, and appliances running after a storm.

Of course, both fuel and a standby generator must be available. After hurricanes, generator users have often experienced shortages of both gasoline and diesel fuels. But, natural gas generators had plenty of fuel available. Their operators did not have to find fuel or fill and transport dangerous containers to supply their generators with fuel.

Natural gas distribution in Fort Pierce experienced no damage and no service outages from recent hurricanes. This is because natural gas regulations require nearly all gas pipelines and other facilities to be deeply buried and very well protected.

Standby generators using natural gas are surprisingly economical to buy and operate. Normally, a control is included to automatically switch to generator power whenever the utility power is interrupted.

GeneratorBecause of hurricanes, many of our customers have set up automatic standby generators powered by natural gas. FPUA does not sell generators, but we will pipe to your residence or business and connect your generator if natural gas is available in your neighborhood.

Here are some advantages to consider:
  • Automatic, quiet standby power
  • Clean, reliable fuel source
  • No handling of dangerous fuel containers
  • Prevention of power outages before they occur
  • Increased peace of mind
  • Affordable setup and operation
